I'm finding that many people with ADD/ADHD have different techniques and tricks they created themselves (sometimes subconsciously) to help them achieve certain goals. They're often "abnormal" practices and seem ridiculous, silly or unnecessary to the rest of the world but are priceless to them.

I posted a blog entry on my blog Doodle Britches early yesterday morning about one of the things I do everyday to help me remember a few things that are very important, but mundane enough for an ADDer like myself to need a trigger to remember.

I'd be flattered if you read it and shared your personal tricks. (Especially the ones that come from out in left field!)

All the best everybody!

Hey new friends,I want to first of all say hello and thank you for the warm welcome to ADHD world. I am a 32 year old man who was diagnosed with ADD (primarily inattentive type) just over a year ago. I am looking forward to the experience of being a part of an online community as unique as this. My wife and I recently move back to Arkansas from Kentucky where I was diagnosed. Our return brought us to a very small town with very few resources in both work and coaching and support for ADDers. So this website is great. Im also very excited because I have my first appointment with a coach on the eleventh of this month. Its been too long.

The other reason Im writing is to let you all know that I took a few minutes the other day to write about ADHD World on one of my blogs. I also included a poll for current ADHD World members to rate this site in order to quickly inform prospective new members as well as general readers of my blog.

Whether or not you love ADHD World, I do encourage you to drop by my blog to cast your vote.

Thank you all for making this excellent community!

Bryan
